Democrats: Wisconsin's Union Crisis is Causing Discord

The Democrats in the senate are doing whatever they can to put off the bill proposed by the republicans which would prohibit collective bargaining by public workers for issues beyond wages, require unions to hold annual votes on whether they should remain in existence and increase workers’ contributions for pensions and health benefits. They're methods of stalling the vote are filibustering, not showing up to the vote, and proposing upwards towards 100 amendments, the result of this should be quite interesting.

Obama's Views on Gay Marriage "Evolving?"

Obama and his administration made the decision on wednesday to stop defending the federal ban on gay marriage that was passed in 1996.  This is a great victory for the gay community throughout America.

Republicans: Why Won't Mitch Run?

The Republican party's favorite candidate for the upcoming election, Mitch Daniels of Indiana, announced recently that there is an "excellent chance"that he will not be running for president.  If I were the Republicans I would either start convincing Daniels to run, otherwise possibly get ready for another four years of a Democratic president.

CS: No ID's Necessary for the Homeless

Earlier this year in Hollywood, the Jubilee Soup Kitchen hosted much debate over whether or not they should turn down starving people who don't have the proper identification.  Hollywood took the humanitarian route and allowed all starving people in, regardless of identification.

CS: A New Robin Hood to Help Out the Poor?

Last week a man who has identified himself as Paz stole Paris Hilton's $3,200 birthday cake and distributed it amongst the homeless people of Los Angeles.  If more people think of ways to help the homeless such as Paz did, we can have a much brighter future.
